Thyroid stimulating immunoglobulin (TSI)

Thyroid stimulating immunoglobulin (TSI): A form of immunoglobulin G (IgG) that can bind to thyrotropin (TSH) receptors on the thyroid gland. TSIs mimic the action of TSH, causing excess secretion of thyroxine and triiodothyronine.
